FAQs

Q: What is your Better Price Promise?

A: Our Better Price Promise means we’ll match any verified lower price from another local veterinary practice for the same service and then make the quotation better! Either by reducing the cost further and/or by providing additional support included in the matched price. It’s our way of ensuring you receive the best care at the very best value.

Q: What services are eligible for price bettering?

A: All routine services—such as vaccinations, consultations, diagnostics and preventative treatments—are immediately eligible. Surgical procedures and specialist treatments are also eligible and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Q: What do I need to provide to request the offer?

A: Simply share a written estimate or a publicly advertised price from a local veterinary practice.

Q: Are there any exclusions?

A: We may not match promotional offers, limited-time discounts or prices from non-local providers. All price matches are subject to verification. But always give us a call and we guarantee to help you.

Q: How do I request the service?

A: You can speak to our reception team in person, give us a call or email a copy of the other veterinary provider’s estimate. We’ll review it promptly, confirm eligibility and offer you the best value whilst giving your pet the absolute best care.

What is otoscopy?

An otoscopy is one of the ways we make sure your pet’s ears stay healthy and comfortable. It’s a simple procedure where we use a small tool called an otoscope — equipped with a light and a magnifying lens or camera — to look gently inside your pet’s ear canal and check the eardrum. This gives our team a clear view of what’s happening deeper in the ear, helping us diagnose issues accurately and choose the best treatment for your pet.

Why do we perform otoscopy?

We may recommend an otoscopic exam if your pet is showing signs that their ears are bothering them. Some common reasons include:
• Chronic ear infections: Ongoing or recurring infections that don’t fully clear up.
• Scratching or head shaking: Pets who seem unusually irritated by their ears.
• Ear discharge: Any unusual fluid, especially if it has a smell or odd colour.
• Changes in hearing: Reduced responsiveness or suspected hearing loss.
• Redness or swelling: Visible irritation or inflammation inside the ear.
• Head tilt or balance changes: Loss of balance, persistent tilting or circling.

Our aim is always to make the experience as gentle and stress free as possible while getting to the root of the problem quickly, so your pet can feel like themselves again.
