Veterinary Consultations

At Triovet, we understand that caring for your pet means more than just responding to emergencies or keeping up with vaccinations. Routine wellness exams play a crucial role in identifying potential health concerns early, preventing serious conditions and supporting a longer, happier life for your furry companions. We proudly offer thorough wellness assessments for your pets during the consultation – designed to monitor overall health and provide peace of mind for pet owners who want the very best for their animals.

Our assessment of your pet’s body and muscle condition, dentition, thoracic auscultation (the things the vet listens to with a stethoscope!), checking any abnormal lumps/bumps, genitals examined, mammary strips examined, health of skin/coat, eyes/ears/nose examined, rectal temperature are all obtained during the consultation – alongside investigating and treating any health concerns or injuries that have led you to bring your pet to us for the appointment.

Of course, all assessments are catered to the temperament of each pet ad to your concerns discussed with our veterinarian.

Nurse Consultations

Nurse consultations are appointments with a qualified veterinary nurse who can assist with a range of non-emergency health services for your dog, cat, or small animal pet. These consults are ideal for routine care and wellness checks, giving you the support you need to keep your pet in optimal health. • Weight management and dietary recomendations: support and advice on managing your pet’s weight.
• Post-operative care: assistance with bandage changes, wound management, and recovery tips after surgery.
• Medication administration: administration and guidance on how to give medication, including tablets and injections.
• Routine clinical procedures: anal gland expressions, nail trims and administering 2nd vaccinations
• Dental checks: early identification of dental issues and advice on how to maintain your pet’s oral health.
• Puppy and kitten care: advice on nutrition, training and development during your pet’s early stages of life.
